Join BTC and Bain for a discussion around the impact of parenthood through the lens of race and how this affects both women and men. A panel discussion will focus on cultural differences and expectations, shared parental leave, maternity, as well as stereotypes and assumptions. Networking to follow. This event is for Signatory members with an interest in the topic including HR, line managers, new and prospective parents.

An exciting pilot programme led by Caroline Flanagan, keynote speaker, author and business coach, which is exclusively for mid-career Black talent from our Signatory cohort. This programme will start with a speaker event that provides expert guidance on empowering colleagues to self evaluate in order to reach their full potential. The keynote will be followed by a Q&A and networking.

All Signatories are invited to a workshop following the close of Black History Month. This will be a confidential discussion between representatives of BTC Signatories to facilitate an evaluation of BHM and reflect on its role today in business.

The event will include a panel discussion on advancing black talent in the legal profession followed by a reception. The event aims to provide practical advice for Black lawyers and senior leaders within the legal community to assist Black lawyers to progress their careers and reach senior positions within the law. Rob Pierre, Chair of Jellyfish Agency and Harry Matovu KC, Chair of the BTC, held a challenging discussion on Empowering Black Talent. The evening was an important opportunity for Black professionals to hear from a top business leader about raising their career profile and for managers to hear about maximising the potential of their organisation's talent.
